       One of the most important and different approaches that LeadersTM offers is that our philosophy and approach will be based on and supported by the use of a method called the “whole brain dominance” thinking style. (Also called HBDI)

 

HBDI - The Herrmann Brain Dominance Instrument

       People in organizations have different ways they perceive and assimilate information, make decisions, and solve problems. These so called “thinking styles” can change the way of working with people in an organization. As organizations become more complex, under-standing the thinking styles of the people working in the organization and expanding them beyond their “regular” preferences may be a necessity.

       When examining successful organizations over time, it shows usually that their workforces have had to do many different tasks well, and have used a variety of different thinking styles to accomplish these tasks. A way of measuring these thinking styles can therefore help to improve the awareness and therefore the outcome and results in an organization.

 The Whole brain thinking model©

 The Whole Brain Model© is scientifically designed to help people learn to think better. The HBDI instrument is an instrument that is developed to measure the thinking styles and can therefore be used to focus on showing people how to use their whole brain – not just the parts with which they feel most comfortable.

 The profile evaluates the degree of preference individuals have for thinking in each of four brain quadrants:

 Rational           - Blue    /A/ Upper left

 Practical          - Green /B/ Lower left

 Feeling            -  Red   /C/ Lower right

 Experimental  -  Yellow/D/ Upper right

       Research has shown that everyone is capable of changing to less preferred thinking styles and learning the necessary skills to diagnose and adapt to the thinking references of others.[1]

       People are able to present information in a way that recognizes, respects, and is compatible with different preferences This is crucial to meeting co-worker, customer, and client needs and expectations..

       The approach is developed by Ned Herrmann, founder of Herrmann International and the originator of Whole Brain Thinking.

 TPM training - Training Personal Management (TPM)

       This specific service is dedicated to the problematic of a multidisciplinary subject called Training Personal Management (TPM), which represents a whole business philosophy centred on the statement: “You cannot manage something that you cannot describe.”

       Therefore, TPM can be seen as a constant effort to describe/define yourself and the others in a social or business context. From the underlying statement it is clear that the skills and competencies acquired through this training are mostly needed in management, more particularly in Human Resources Management (HRM).

        Modern HRM theories accept that the employee has two “selves” – the human resource (HR) and the person (P). While it is more or less easier to deal with the HR part (instrumental approach), the P(ersonal) is still a mystery for both theoreticians and practicians. This training deals with this “P”.

       The overall goal of the training is therefore raising awareness, i.e. answering some specific questions: “Am I aware of my behaviour, the others’ behaviour and the response it induces?”; “Do I have the ability to detect and accept my weaknesses?”; “How do I deal with the unexpected? Do I accept it or block it? Because “blocking” it is not the winning tactic.”

        This training provides answers to such questions through a combination of game-like case studies and improvisation games). LeadersTM already has a great experience in giving those trainings. It is one of the core trainings used at HAN University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands, widely known as “Arnhem Business School”.

 Consultancy:

        LeadersTM will use the mentioned “whole Brain approach” in their consultancy framework. Concrete this will mean that based on the wishes and demands of the client there will be an intake with the client to discover the most effective approach that the client needs.

        LeadersTM has experienced consultants that can give consultancy in all fields related with management. If the clients want consultancy in a field where LeadersTM has no experience we will take care that the client will be provided with advise about a good consultant or will find one for the client

  Coaching:

         LeadersTM will, based on the “whole brain approach” also support and guide individuals or groups within organizations to find the most effective approach towards changes within the organization.

         LeadersTM can rely on experienced coaches that are trained in specific coaching methods.  Before a coaching project will take place the coach will have an individual or group meeting with the coachee(s) in which the relation between both will made clear and results and processes will be made and settled. LeadersTM will take care that the client has a clear overview of the taken actions and planned results within a given time frame.

         It has no doubt that coaching session will be based on confidential meetings and relations. The content of the coaching sessions will never be part of the reporting to the client, but the client will know about the development and progress toward the before planned results and criteria.

 Management training.

          Based on several existing and own made management simulation games, LeadersTM offers a basic training in management for managers and employees, to help them explore the fundaments of all processes of management. The training programs are accessible for persons with any professional background, both for profit or non-profit sector.  

 Trainings in intercultural adaptability for managers and employees.

           LeadersTM is also able to use several existing and new management simulations and games in which managers and employees as participants will be confronted with an approach to deal with cultural differences. The trainings build upon a contemporary approach within the intercultural trainings methods. LeadersTM has experienced trainers that have already built up a great international experience in giving these trainings.  

 Identify the motivation level of your employees and translate that to your management style

          LeadersTM has experience in the research field of motivation in organizations and has build up practical experiences in identifying, translating into actions and implementation of this important value in organizations. Based on research, experience and successes LeadersTM can do research in your organization to find out what drives your people and if this “drive" is related to the work that the employee does in your organization. If there is a mismatch we can translate this into a new plan and help you to implement this in your organization.

 Advising and coaching in management styles

          LeadersTM offers advice and coaching for managers in new and existing management styles. The form in this can be done will be tailor-made, in separate sessions, individual coaching sessions or workshops. We have expertise and experience in coaching and advising several managers and management teams.

 Supporting, guiding and advising in change management within the organization

          LeadersTM has experiences in change management within organizations; restructuring and cultural changes in an organization can be very demanding and influencing the results of an organization. The “Back to Business” approach is an approach that can help managers to get the focus within the organization back to the main goals.

 Interim management

          LeadersTM is able to offer interim management to the organization if this is necessary and in the case of a change of management within the organization.
